Leeds isn't playing games when it comes to keeping the Cahaba Clean! They kicked Earth Week 2024 off right with 60 VOLUNTEERS collecting 287 lbs of tires, 30 lbs of recycling, and 739 lbs. of trash! Join us for a Canoe Cleanup and Walking Cleanup at Old Cahawba Archaeological Park!🚣‍♂️ 🚶‍♂️🛶 In the morning, paddle a 5-mile stretch of the Cahaba River alongside the park, removing trash as we go. Canoe cleanup participants can meet at Amped Fitness at the Colonnade at 8 am or at Old Cahawba Archaeological Park around 10 am 🌊🌳 In the afternoon at 2pm, join us for a walking cleanup of Old Cahawba Archaeological Park to remove limbs and brush.
