Description

Mom’s Basement is sponsoring a walking cleanup opportunity at Bishop’s Creek in Pelham, AL. Bishop’s Creek, also known as Cahaba Valley Creek, is an important part of the Cahaba River watershed. Creekview Park provides easy access to enjoy the creek’s natural beauty, but a lot of trash has accumulated over the years. Volunteers will clean the creek and surrounding woods.

Join us for a volunteer celebration after the cleanup at Mom’s Basement. Volunteers at the celebration will have the opportunity to take some great prizes home, including a Yeti backpack cooler.

By volunteering, you will:

  • Learn about the importance of green space for the health and benefit of human and animal life.
  • Help increase access to green space for everyone in Pelham
  • Explore Pelham’s natural resources and new natural areas

Space is limited. Click here to register a group or individual volunteer.
