Hailey Castillo is a rising senior studying public relations and digital consumer engagement at the University of Alabama. During her studies, she’s had the opportunity to work for Autism Support of Alabama and Secret Meals For Hungry Children, which are two local nonprofits. Her time at the Capstone has given her appreciation for nonprofit communication and community engagement.

The Curtis and Edith Munson Foundation has awarded Hailey a scholarship grant to intern at Cahaba River Society for the summer.  As an intern for Cahaba River Society, Hailey hopes to use her skills she’s learned in and outside the classroom to raise awareness of Alabama’s diverse ecosystem throughout Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and beyond.
