The B'ham News describes the Southeastern Fisheries Council report on the "Desperate Dozen", imperiled fishes of the Southeast. The Alabama Sturgeon, one of the Desperate Dozen, has the lower Cahaba River and a portion of the Alabama River as its remaining available habitat.
